Paid Content is reporting exclusively on alleged chatter that Nokia and Facebook are working on securing a partnership.

Facebook is working hard on pushing ever more deeply into the mobile market, and if Paid Content’s claims are true, Nokia phones will be receiving a nice FB-sanctioned button on their screens that will direct handset owners to the popular social network. nokialogoPC is also saying Nokia will receive a stake in Facebook, adding to the social network’s funding gathered from the likes of

We've heard of firms tinkering with the idea of converting excess heat directly to energy, and apparently, a team of scientists from the US Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California at Berkeley have done just that. Oddly enough, the researchers admit that they're still unclear on how their findings actually work, but they've nevertheless discovered how to increase the conversion efficiency of converting waste heat to energy "by a factor of 100." The authors of the report suggest that clothing constructed of material em

So some new start-up is getting ready to come out of stealth mode and wow the world with its innovative, paradigm-shifting gadget -- but naturally, you've gotta build a little bit of buzz before you can cross that bridge. Modu's website is devoid of information that might lead us to conclude what kind of device the firm is prepping, but the teaser video is a psychadelic trip through a day in some Modu user's life during which we can make out a few ultra-brief moments of some pretty hot looking... something or other. Maybe you got word that the iPhone development community supposedly has a jailbreak method for v1.1.3 -- but they're not releasing it yet. (They claim they want to wait until the next firmware update in February that will enable the SDK, so Apple won't patch the hack in the mean time.) We understand if you're feeling a mite bit let down, so if you jumped the gun (or just didn't hear the good news), restoring your phone back to trusty old v1.1.1 isn't too big a feat. That supposed jailbreak video is after the break though, if you want to whet your whistle.<

Qualcomm's proxy statement filing with the SEC last week revealed some juicy tidbits regarding subsidiary MediaFLO USA's performance in fiscal year 2007, and as might be expected, the numbers aren't so hot. To be fair, MediaFLO launched for the first time anywhere on any carrier in 2007, and the s
